Detection condition
• The vehicle control module (VCM) detects a 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical) internal malfunction.
Fail-safe
Possible cause
1. Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules.
― Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM].)
― Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM].)
2. DTCs are stored in the 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical). (See DTC TABLE [VMC].)
3. 360°view monitor control module/parking assist unit (optical) malfunction (Refer to [PARKING ASSIST UNIT (OPTICAL) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.) (Refer to [360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
