System malfunction location	Forward sensing camera (FSC) internal malfunction
Detection condition	• The vehicle control module (VCM) detects a forward sensing camera (FSC) internal malfunction.
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM].)
Possible cause	1. Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules. ― Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM].) ― Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM].) 2. DTCs are stored in the forward sensing camera (FSC). (See DTC TABLE [FSC].) 3. Forward sensing camera (FSC) related DTCs are stored in the vehicle control module (VCM). (See DTC TABLE [VCM].) 4. Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction (Refer to [FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.) 5. Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
Repeatability verification procedure	1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
