Detection condition
|
• The door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) detects an open circuit or short to ground in the backup power supply unit circuit.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Inhibits the auto door lock function.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between backup power supply unit and door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Backup power supply unit malfunction (Refer to [BACKUP POWER SUPPLY INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
3. Door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) malfunction (Refer to [DOOR-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
