|
• Power liftgate (PLG) control module detected an open circuit in the power liftgate (PLG) touch sensor (LH) circuit.

Fail-safe
|
• Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.
|

Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between power liftgate (PLG) touch sensor (LH) and power liftgate (PLG) control module (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Power liftgate (PLG) touch sensor (LH) malfunction
3. Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction (Refer to [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Operate the power liftgate (PLG) system.
