|
• Power liftgate (PLG) control module detected that the motor return switch does not change.
|

Fail-safe
|
• Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.

Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between body ground and liftgate latch and lock actuator (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between liftgate latch and lock actuator and power liftgate (PLG) control module (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
3. Motor return switch malfunction (Refer to [LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
4. Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction (Refer to [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
5. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Operate the power liftgate (PLG) system.
