• Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection only under the detection conditions may cause injury or damage the system due to a mis-operation. When performing an inspection, always follow the diagnostic procedure.
• Malfunction in wiring harness between passenger-side crash zone sensor and SAS control module.

Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
Inspection/Action Procedure
• This DTC may be displayed due to the following DTCs. If the following DTCs are displayed, prioritize inspection/taking action.

― SAS control module (See DTC TABLE [SAS].)

• DTC related to internal malfunction• DTC related to malfunction signal reception

• Inspect and take action in order from Step 1 below.
• After repairing or replacing a part, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC inspection.(See DTC INSPECTION.)

― If the same DTC is displayed again as a result of the DTC inspection, go to the next step.
1.Verify the installation condition of the passenger-side crash zone sensor.
If the passenger-side crash zone sensor is not correctly installed, install it correctly.
