Detection condition
|
• The body control module (BCM) detects the communication error with the LF control unit 10 times.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Inhibits the door lock/unlock control using the advanced keyless entry system.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between LF control unit and body control module (BCM) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. LF control unit malfunction (Refer to [LF CONTROL UNIT INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
3. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
