Detection condition
|
• The electrical supply unit (ESU) detects an open circuit or short to ground in the rear turn light (LH) circuit.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Front combination light (LH)/side turn light (LH)/turn signal/hazard warning indicator light flash rapidly.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between body ground and rear combination light (LH) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear combination light (LH) and electrical supply unit (ESU) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
3. Rear turn light (LH) malfunction (Refer to [REAR COMBINATION LIGHT INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
4. Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction (Refer to [ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
