|
• The body control module (BCM) detects a short to ground in the rear door lock-link switch (LH)/(RH) unlock circuit.
Precondition
• The rear door lock-link switch not unlocked.

Possible cause
|
1. Rear door lock-link switch (LH) malfunction (Refer to [REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
2. Rear door lock-link switch (RH) malfunction (Refer to [REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
3. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) and body control module (BCM) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
4. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) and body control module (BCM) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Turn the rear door lock-link switch (driver's side) lock.
