Front door lock-link switch (driver's side) circuit malfunction

Detection condition
• The door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) detects a short to ground in the front door lock-link switch (driver's side) circuit.
Fail-safe
• Not applicable
Possible cause
1. Front door lock-link switch (driver's side) malfunction (Refer to [FRONT DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) and front door lock-link switch (driver's side) (front door latch and lock actuator (driver's side)) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM) with the front door lock-link switch (driver's side) locked. (See DTC INSPECTION.)
3. Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM) with the front door lock-link switch (driver's side) unlocked. (See DTC INSPECTION.)
