Detection condition
|
• The dash-electrical supply unit detects a short to ground in the rear vent actuator internal potentiometer circuit.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Rear vent actuator drive signal is stopped right when the malfunction is determined.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Rear vent actuator malfunction (short to ground in potentiometer circuit) (Refer to [REAR VENT ACTUATOR INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
2. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
