Error signal received from humidity sensor |
|---|---|
Detection condition
• The dash-electrical supply unit detects an error of the humidity sensor temperature signal received from the humidity sensor.
Fail-safe
• Fixes the humidity sensor temperature input value at −40 °C {−40 °F} and performs control.
• Performs control as a vehicle without the humidity sensor.
Possible cause
1. DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (See DTC TABLE [BCM].)
2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between auto light sensor/rain sensor/solar radiation sensor/humidity sensor and body control module (BCM) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
3. Humidity sensor malfunction (Refer to [RAIN SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
5. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
