Door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch circuit malfunction

Detection condition
• The LF control unit detects that the door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch is on.
Precondition
• The vehicle is being driven at 5 km/h {3 mph} or more.
Fail-safe
• Not applicable
Possible cause
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch and LF control unit (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Door lock switch (liftgate)/power liftgate (PLG) rear switch malfunction (Refer to [DOOR LOCK SWITCH INSPECTION] in workshop manual.) (Refer to [POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) DRIVE UNIT INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Drive the vehicle at 5 km/h {3 mph} or more for 2 min or more.
