Detection condition
|
• The body control module (BCM) detects a communication error (data received failure) with ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV).

Fail-safe
|
• Cancels the i-stop control.
|

Possible cause
|
1. The immobilizer system-related part programming has not been performed when replacing the ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV) or body control module (BCM). (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [SECURITY AND LOCKS].)
2. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
3. ECM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)/PCM (except e-SKYACTIV PHEV) malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
