Detection condition
|
• The LF control unit detects an open circuit or short to ground in the keyless antenna (exterior, rear) circuit.
Precondition
• The ignition is switched off/main power switched OFF.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Inhibits the door lock/unlock control using the advanced keyless entry system.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between keyless antenna (exterior, rear) and LF control unit (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. LF control unit malfunction (Refer to [LF CONTROL UNIT INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
3. Keyless antenna (exterior, rear) malfunction (Refer to [KEYLESS ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Perform the following work:
