Detection condition
|
• The body control module (BCM) detects that the push button start/power switch switch 1 is stuck on.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Perform the control with the push button start/power switch switch 1 turned off.
• Cancels the i-stop control.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between push button start/power switch and body control module (BCM) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Push button start/power switch malfunction (Refer to [PUSH BUTTON START INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
3. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on)/main power ON (READY off or on) and wait for 2 min or more.
