Detection condition
|
• The dash-electrical supply unit detects a short to ground in the passenger-side seat warmer unit circuit.
|
|
Fail-safe
|
• Stops the driver and passenger-side seat warmer output.
|
|
Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between passenger-side seat warmer unit and seat warmer control unit (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Passenger-side front seat malfunction (passenger-side seat warmer unit circuit malfunction or passenger-side seat warmer unit malfunction) (Refer to [FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
3. Position memory control module/seat warmer control unit malfunction (Refer to [POSITION MEMORY CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.) (Refer to [SEAT WARMER CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
4. Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction (Refer to [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
