  • Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear seat warmer unit (LH) and rear seat warmer control unit
  • Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear seat warmer unit (LH) and body ground
  • Rear seat

System malfunction location

Rear seat warmer unit (LH) circuit malfunction (Thermistor side)
Detection condition
• The dash-electrical supply unit detects a short to ground in the rear seat warmer unit (LH) circuit.
Fail-safe
• Stops the rear seat warmer output.
Possible cause
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear seat warmer unit (LH) and rear seat warmer control unit (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Rear seat warmer control unit malfunction
3. Rear seat cushion (LH) malfunction (rear seat cushion filament (LH) malfunction) (Refer to [REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
Repeatability verification procedure
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
