Detection condition
|
• The electrical supply unit (ESU) detects an open circuit in the rear buckle switch (RH) circuit for a continuous 2 times.
Precondition
• The rear seat belt (RH) is unfastened.

Possible cause
|
1. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between body ground and rear buckle switch (RH) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between rear buckle switch (RH) and electrical supply unit (ESU) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION.)
3. Rear buckle switch (RH) malfunction (Refer to [BUCKLE SWITCH INSPECTION] in workshop manual.)
4. Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction (Refer to [ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)
5. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in workshop manual.)

Repeatability verification procedure
|
1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.)
2. Unfasten the rear buckle switch (RH).
